Empat Kantor di Pulogadung Ludes Terbakar

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Api yang mengamuk di Jalan Raya Gelam I, Kawasan Industri Pulogadung, Jakarta Timur, berhasil dipadamkan setelah diterjunkan sekitar 18 mobil pemadam kebakaran. Namun, kantor milik empat perusahaan habis terbakar.
Petugas pemadam kebaran berhasil memadamkan api sekitar pukul 08.30 WIB, Senin (30/11). Empat perusahaan yang terbakar adalah perusahaan coklat cadbury, perusahaan pengiriman paket, PT. Jaya Abadi, dan PT. Steel Center.
Api diduga berasal dari salah satu bangunan yang terbakar. Seorang saksi menyatakan, dirinya mendengar ledakan dan melihat asap tebal dari dalam salah satu pabrik. Kemudian api dengan cepat membesar. Kebakaran itu terjadi saat sejumlah karyawan hendak masuk kantor. Diduga api berasal dari hubungan arus pendek listrik.(*/DSY)
Hari Ini Ito Sumardi Dilantik jadi Kabareskrim

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Inspektur Jenderal Polisi Ito Sumardi hari ini rencananya akan dilantik secara resmi sebagai Kepala Badan Reserse Kriminal Mabes Polri. Pelantikan akan dilakukan langsung Kepala Polri Jenderal Polisi Bambang Hendarso Danuri. Ito menggantikan Komisaris Jenderal Polisi Susno Duadji yang dicopot menyusul kisruh penahanan dua petinggi Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi, Bibit Samad Rianto dan Chandra M Hamzah dan kasus Bank Century.
Ito Sumardi lahir di Bogor 17 Juni 1953. Jebolan Akademi Kepolisian tahun 1977 itu meraih gelar Doktor pada tahun 2005. Salah satu pos penting yang ia tempati di masa awal karier kepolisiannya adalah sebagai Ditserse Polres Metro Jakarta Pusat. Lalu pada tahun 1993 hingga 1996 menjadi Kasat Lantas Polwiltabes Bandung, Jawa Barat.
Setelah itu ia sempat memimpin Polwiltabes Surabaya dari tahun 2001 hingga 2003. Ito lalu ditarik ke Mabes Polri guna mengisi posisi sebagai Direktur Samapta Babinkam 2004-2005. Sebelum akhirnya bertugas sebagai staf ahli Kapolri, Ito juga sempat memimpin dua Kepolisian Daerah, yakni Polda Riau dari tahun 2005 hingga 2006 dan Polda Sumatra Selatan tahun 2006 hingga 2008.
Reporter Metro TV Dince Indra melaporkan, serah terima jabatan bukan hanya antara Ito dan Susno Duadji. Sebanyak 25 pejabat tinggi di tubuh Mabes Polri juga dimutasi dan akan sertijab hari ini. Ke-25 pejabat yag dimutasi adalah dari 16 perwira tinggi dan sembilan komisaris besar. Rencananya, sertijab akan dilakukan setelah apel di Mabes Polri.
Menurut anggota Humas Mabes Polri, Ketut Yoga, pelantikan yang sebelumnya terbuka untuk wartawan, kali ini berlangsung tertutup. Tidak jelas yang menjadi alasan pelantikan berlangsung tertutup ini.(*/DSY)

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Pelantikan Kepala Badan Reserse Kriminal Mabes Polri baru Inspektur Jenderal Polisi Ito Sumardi dan puluhan pejabat tinggi Polri lainnya, hari ini, diwarnai aksi protes wartawan. Mabes Polri dinilai diskriminasi karena hanya mengizinkan beberapa media saja meliput pelantikan tersebut. Semula, acara ini pun akan berlangsung tertutup.
Perdebatan cukup sengit terjadi antara sejumlah wartawan dan petugas jaga Polri di depan Ruang Rupatama, tempat pelantikan berlangsung. Bahkan, beberapa wartawan elektronik dan cetak memaksa masuk ke ruangan.
Semula serah terima jabatan sejumlah pati Mabes Polri, termasuk untuk jabatan Kabareskrim, akan dilangsungkan tertutup. Alasannya, menurut staf Humas Mabes Polri, I Ketut Untung Yoga Ana, sertijab ini merupakan acara internal Mabes Polri. Padahal, sebelum-sebelumnya, setiap sertijab petinggi Polri, selalu diizinkan diliput media.
Setelah mendapat desakan, Humas Polri akhirnya mengizinkan wartawan meliput kegiatan sertijab. Meski begitu, wartawan yang diizinkan masuk pun terbatas. Media yang hanya diizinkan masuk hanya empat media, termasuk Metro TV. Kontan hal ini diprotes wartawan lainnya yang tak mendapat izin peliputan.
Sejumlah perwira tinggi Mabes Polri sudah hadir di Ruang Rupatama Mabes Polri, di antaranya Inspektur Jenderal Polisi Ito Sumardi dan Komisaris Besar Polisi Susno Duadji. Saat akan masuk ruangan, Susno tak memberikan komentar kepada wartawan. Susno hanya berjanji akan menggelar konferensi pers seusai pelantikan dan sertijab.(DSY)

Miley Cyrus, 16 year-old popstar who's known for her leading role in Hannah Montana said that in 2010 she's going to embark in a charity mission to several countries. She hasn't revealed any exact details, only that one of them is Indonesia.
"I've been planning going to Indonesia since I was eight," said Miley to Britain's Daily Record newspaper. "It's something I've always wanted to do, and I was never old enough to go with my church when they all headed out there."
After award-winning actress Julia Roberts coming to Bali for filming Eat, Pray, Love and Korean popstar Rain expected coming to Jakarta in December 2009 for a concert, Miley Cyrus's visit would further enhance the positive image of Indonesia.

Palin is not happy with the latest Newsweek cover.
(CNN) - Sarah Palin's image is everywhere as she launches a highly-anticipated book tour this week, but the former Alaska governor is unhappy with at least one media organization's depiction of her.
Palin took aim at Newsweek's eye-catching cover this week that shows the former vice presidential candidate in her running outfit - an image that was apparently lifted from a Runner's World photo shoot months ago. Writing on her Facebook page Monday night, Palin said the depiction is flat out "sexist, and oh-so-expected."
"The choice of photo for the cover of this week's Newsweek is unfortunate. When it comes to Sarah Palin, this 'news' magazine has relished focusing on the irrelevant rather than the relevant," Palin wrote. "The out-of-context Newsweek approach is sexist, and oh-so-expected by now."
"If anyone can learn anything from it: it shows why you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, gender, or color of skin. The media will do anything to draw attention – even if out of context," Palin also said.
The photo is accompanied by text that states "How Do You Solve A Problem Like Sarah? She's bad news for the GOP - and for everybody else too."
Palin has held back few punches at the media in the initial stages of her publicity tour. The former governor slammed the Associated Press for its recent fact check that took issue with several of the memoir's contentions and, in her Oprah appearance that aired Monday, Palin slammed the way the media treated her family during the campaign.
The Alaska Republican also doesn't hold back in her book, writing at one point, "I had been out of journalism for a long time, and it was pretty obvious the rules had changed. I felt sick about the depths to which some in the press had apparently sunk, not because it was unfair to me and John, but because it was unfair to the American electorate."
